Bristle Blocks
I purchased the bristle blocks this summer because we were going to start teaching kindergarten this year, but some of my older students have really been creative with them; for example: this space station and robot created by two boys working together.

What do pre-schoolers learn from working with bristle blocks? Do they learn more from using regular wooden blocks? I'm trying to justify doing an observation of a child using bristle blocks as opposed to using the later. I would really appreciate your help with this, thank you.
